Where To Donate Baked Goods

Where To Donate Baked Goods. In a time where money is tight for everyone, and we often just can’t afford to give some of the gifts we want, i think something baked with love, and packaged. I love to give baked goods as gifts, and find they are almost always very well received.

Get names and phone numbers so that the person can be contacted to remind them of their donation and to specify which baked good is needed. But if your aim is a more general neighborliness. Similar to leftovers, since food banks can’t confirm how your baked goods were made or their ingredients, they can’t be donated.

You Can Be A Part Of This Wonderful Organization By Donating.

We host virtual bake sales and donate all proceeds to established nonprofit organizations fighting for social justice/humanitarian issues. They accept clothing, books, hygiene products, cookware, household items, and more. Support this fun event by bringing cupcakes, cookies, brownies, rice krispie treats, chocolate covered pretzels, etc.

Sign up to bake with bake sale chairs, please contact jill silverstein: I love to give baked goods as gifts, and find they are almost always very well received. The felix project works with supermarkets, wholesalers, and retailers to distribute donated food.

I Never Participate In Food Exchanges, Partly Because My Child Has A Deadly Nut Allergy, Partly Because I Don’t Trust What Random People Bake In Their Kitchens (More So In Times Of Covid).

Each of my kid’s school’s pta’s are hosting holiday cookie exchanges for teachers (parents bake for teachers to make up a box/bag of assorted things to take home) and it also seems like every major or minor extracurricular. I don’t want to donate baked goods or shop for secret santa’s. Ask for a first and second choice of what is being donated.

I Don’t Want To Donate Baked Goods Or Shop For Secret Santa’s.

Bake to donate strives to empower the youth voice in our community through baking. Their baked goods are surplus, collected from artisan bakeries the previous day, preventing them from going to waste. I’m not sure what their current policies are.

I bake for holidays, birthdays, special days at school, special events and for no reason at all. A good rule of thumb is if you wouldn't consider buying it new, don't donate it. But if your aim is a more general neighborliness.
